Je mourrai avec des images du paradis terrestre dans les yeux. \u00bb Tom Hurndall<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ismfrance.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/tom.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17473\" src=\"https:\/\/ismfrance.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/tom.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"678\" height=\"455\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ismfrance.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/tom.jpg 678w, https:\/\/ismfrance.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/tom-300x201.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 678px) 100vw, 678px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Nous honorons la m\u00e9moire de Tom Hurndall, un courageux d\u00e9fenseur de la Palestine dont la vie a \u00e9t\u00e9 violemment \u00e9court\u00e9e alors qu\u2019il \u00e9tait membre du Mouvement de solidarit\u00e9 internationale (ISM). Un sniper des forces isra\u00e9liennes lui a tir\u00e9 une balle dans la t\u00eate le 11 avril 2003. Un t\u00e9moin s\u2019est souvenu de la fa\u00e7on dont Tom s\u2019\u00e9tait dirig\u00e9 vers un gar\u00e7on effray\u00e9, Salim Barhum, pour \u00eatre abattu quelques instants plus tard alors qu\u2019il se baissait vers l&rsquo;enfant. Tom portait un gilet fluorescent.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Tom \u00e9tait plus qu\u2019un simple activiste ; il \u00e9tait une lumi\u00e8re dans l\u2019obscurit\u00e9, d\u00e9termin\u00e9 \u00e0 amplifier les voix de ceux qui sont souvent r\u00e9duits au silence. Sa compassion a inspir\u00e9 tous ceux qui l\u2019entouraient. L\u2019arm\u00e9e isra\u00e9lienne a fini par condamner le soldat responsable de sa mort, mais la courte peine et la lib\u00e9ration anticip\u00e9e soul\u00e8vent de profondes questions sur la justice. Le cas de Tom nous rappelle que le combat pour la responsabilit\u00e9 et la lib\u00e9ration est en cours. Lorsque des Palestiniens sont tu\u00e9s, la justice est rarement rendue et le cycle de la violence se poursuit sans rel\u00e2che.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Sa perte est profond\u00e9ment ressentie non seulement par ceux qui le connaissaient personnellement, mais aussi par les innombrables vies qu\u2019il a touch\u00e9es par son travail. Cela nous rappelle les luttes en cours pour la justice et la lib\u00e9ration. L\u2019esprit de Tom perdure dans le combat que nous poursuivons aujourd\u2019hui.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Honorons-le en luttant contre l\u2019injustice et en amplifiant les voix qui sont encore peu entendues.
